How to Assign an Activity Using Canvas

Assigning through Canvas takes two steps: install Classwork.com in your Canvas course once, then create the assignment. Both are covered in detail in the guides below. When students submit, scores pass back to your Canvas gradebook, and you can grade in SpeedGrader.

Step 1: Install Classwork.com in Canvas

Before you can assign, install Classwork.com as an External Tool (app) in each Canvas course that will use it. Your organization may have already installed it for you. See How Do I Install Classwork.com as an App in Canvas?

Step 2: Assign Student Work Using Canvas
