Yes. Students can change the font, size, style, and text color — but only when they are typing in an Open Answer question with the Rich Text Editor enabled.

The Rich Text Editor is on by default for Open Answer questions, so students will automatically see a formatting toolbar when responding.

With Rich Text enabled, students can:

• Change font

• Change text size

• Change text color

• Use bold, italic, and underline

If you add an Open Answer question and keep the default settings, students will be able to format their responses.
