Classes Page Overview |
The Classes page is your home base for managing your classes in Classwork.com. From here, you can connect your classes from Google Classroom or create your own for other platforms like Canvas or Schoology. For teachers not connected to a learning management system, the Classes page provides an easy way to manage classes, students, and assignments together inside Classwork.com.
Overview
Each class you’ve added will appear across the top of the page as Classes.
Each class shows three quick snapshots of student progress:
Needs Review | How many student submissions are waiting for your feedback or return. |
In Progress | How many students have opened the assignment but have not yet submitted it. |
Not Started | How many students haven’t begun the assignment yet. |
Note: “In Progress” simply means a student accessed the assignment. It doesn’t necessarily indicate recent activity.
View Class Details
When you click a class, you’ll see its details below, organized into three main tabs:
Assignments | Manage student submissions and view assignment progress for the class. This tab includes a Needs Review column, which shows how many student submissions are waiting for your feedback or return. Here is a more detailed look at Assignments Tab - Classes Page |
Gradebook (COMING SOON) | See all scores for every student and assignment in one place. |
Reports (COMING SOON) | Generate summaries and insights to help you track performance and progress over time. |
Adding or Syncing Classes
You can add classes two ways:
- Sync from Google Classroom – Quickly import your existing Google Classroom classes and students into Classwork.com.
- Create Your Own Class – If you don’t use Google Classroom, you can still create classes directly in Classwork.com. Add your existing students, modify class details, and manage everything from one place.
For a full walkthrough, see Sync or Add New Classes – Setup Classes and Students
Once added, your classes will automatically appear at the top of the Classes page.
