Google has a new policy that may cause your students to see an error when they try to start an assignments. As of October 23, 2023, all applications used by students must first by approved by your Google administrators.

If Classwork.com is blocked in your district, your students will see the following message when trying to use the app: "Access Blocked: Your institution's admin needs to review Classwork.com" along with a "Request Access" link.

Have your students click the "Request Access" link. That will alert your admins that you are requesting access and make it easier for them to find and approve the app for you.

Then contact your Google admins directly and request that they approve Classwork.com for use by students.

Allowing Classwork.com in Google Workspace for Education

• For Teachers to use the "Sign In With Google" SSO feature.
• For students to identify themselves via Google when starting an assignment.

  • Send student scores to the Teacher's Google Classroom gradebook.
