|  | What Teacher and Student Data Does Classwork.com Collect? | 
Classwork.com is an online tool that allows teachers to upload PDFs or other static documents and add interactive, auto-graded elements. These digital Activities can then be assigned to students through share links or via a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Google Classroom, Canvas, or Schoology. Students complete the Activities, and teachers review, score, and return the work through Classwork.com.
Teacher Data Collected
Classwork.com collects the following teacher data:
- First and last name 
- Email address 
- School and/or district name and location 
- Subjects and grade levels taught 
- Minimal data from external systems to facilitate Single Sign-On (SSO) and LMS integrations 
- Original text, graphics, and audio created while designing digital Activities 
- Teacher-entered scores and annotations on student Submissions 
Student Data Collected
Classwork.com collects the following student data:
- First and last name 
- Email address (used only to differentiate between students; Classwork.com does not email students) 
- Minimal data from external systems used for LMS integrations 
- Original text, graphics, and audio created at the teacher’s discretion as part of assigned work 
- Auto-scored results and teacher-entered grades 
Data Protection and Security
Classwork.com uses a secure, regularly reviewed architecture to protect all user data.
- All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. 
- All data is stored securely within the United States.
