Browser Compatibility

Classwork.com is compatible with the latest versions of:

• Safari

• Microsoft Edge

The student interface works smoothly on both iOS and Android browsers.
Teachers can also access Classwork.com on these devices to check progress, but we recommend a laptop, desktop, or Chromebook for editing and grading activities due to screen size.

Technical Requirements

• JavaScript must be enabled.

• Cookies must be allowed. Classwork.com uses cookies to identify users during their session.

• If you’re using Safari or the Canvas app, activities should be set to open in a new window, since these block third-party cookies.

• Classwork.com is not compatible with Chrome’s Incognito Mode, which blocks the cookies required for login.

Bandwidth and Performance

Classwork.com is designed to be lightweight:

• The student application is approximately 400 KB and benefits from caching on repeat visits.

• Typical PDF-to-image conversions use about 200–300 KB per page, also cached after the first load.

• A standard 2–3 page activity requires roughly 1.5 MB per student.

• Additional images or audio may increase that slightly.
