Texas OER Performance Report

The Texas OER Performance Report shows how your students are performing on instruction aligned to the Texas OER Math and ELAR materials (Bluebonnet Learning™). It breaks results down by module or unit, all the way to the individual topic and lesson, so you can see exactly where students are succeeding and where they need support.

The Texas OER Performance Report is available only if your school or district has purchased the Texas OER Math or ELAR Companion.

This report covers your own classes. Administrators can view Texas OER performance across their campus or district. See Texas OER Performance Report for Admins.

Open the Report

From the Classes page, open the Reports tab and select Texas OER Performance Report.

Set Your Report Options

Three dropdowns appear at the top of the report:

• Grade: Choose the Texas OER course and grade (for example, Texas OER Math Grade 3).
• Module / Unit: Choose the Module (Math) or Unit (ELAR) you want to report on.
• Date Range: Optional. Click once on the calendar to set the start date, then click again to set the end date. If you don’t set one, the report uses the date range selected at the top of the Classes page.

Two additional filters are available beneath the dropdowns:

• Select Standards: Filter the data by the standards tagged to the questions in the module or unit.
• Select Questions: Filter by Bloom’s Taxonomy and Webb’s DOK. (Unlike the Activity Report, this report does not include a question type filter.)

Filter by Activity Score

Above the table is an Activity Score range slider with two handles. Drag the low handle up from 0% and the high handle down from 100% to hide any scores that fall outside that range. This makes it easy to focus on a specific performance band, such as only the lowest scores.

Reading the Report

The report lists every student who has completed work aligned to the selected module or unit. For each student you will see:

• Student: The student’s name.
• Avg: The student’s average score across the module or unit.
• Curriculum breakdown: One set of columns for the instructional content.

In Math, the breakdown is organized by Topic, and each topic expands across its individual Lessons. A Multiple Lessons column captures work that spans more than one lesson within a topic. In ELAR, the breakdown is organized by sub-unit instead.

Each topic and lesson header shows the class average for that topic or lesson, and every column (Student, Avg, and each lesson) is sortable. Each cell shows a student’s score on that lesson, color-coded by score band, or a dash when there is no work yet. The Legend in the top right explains the colors. Scroll horizontally to see all of the topics and lessons.

Putting It All Together

The Texas OER Performance Report gives you a lesson-by-lesson view of how your class is moving through the Texas OER curriculum. Use the topic and lesson averages to spot where the class is struggling, then use the Activity Score slider and the standards and rigor filters to dig into the details.
