PDF Form Fields Are Not Automatically Detected

Classwork does not automatically detect fillable form fields in a PDF or generate interactive fields during upload.

If your PDF already contains form fields created in another program, those fields will not be recognized or converted when the file is imported into Classwork.

How to Make a PDF Interactive

To make a PDF interactive, you will need to manually add Question Types or text fields using the Classwork editor.

Place the appropriate Question Type where students should respond on the page.

This allows you to:

• Select the Question Type that best fits the task
• Enable autograding when available
• Create a fully interactive Activity
