Can I Merge Two Assignments or Turn Two Activities Into One?

Yes — you can combine two Activities, but Classwork.com does not currently have a one-click “merge” feature. Instead, you can manually copy Slides from one Activity into another. This works well whether you’re combining two units, creating a longer review packet, or bringing together materials from different sources.

Below are the recommended steps.

The Best Way to Combine Two Activities

Since only one Slide can be copied at a time, the easiest workflow is to open both Activities in separate browser tabs.

Step 1: Open Both Activities

  1. In your browser, open Activity A and click Edit.

  2. Open Activity B in a second browser tab and click Edit.

Step 2: Copy a Slide from Activity A

  1. In Activity A, click the Slide you want to copy in the filmstrip on the left.

  2. Press Ctrl+C (Windows/Chromebook) or Cmd+C (Mac).

    • Or use Edit → Copy from the top menu.

Step 3: Paste Into Activity B

  1. Switch to the Activity B tab.

  2. Click the location in the filmstrip where you want the Slide to go.

  3. Press Ctrl+V (Windows/Chromebook) or Cmd+V (Mac).

    • Or use Edit → Paste.

Repeat Steps 2–3 for each Slide you want to bring over.

Important Notes

  • Multiple-slide selection isn’t supported. Slides must be copied one at a time.

  • You can rearrange pasted Slides freely in the filmstrip after they’re added.
