You’ll find the Eye icon in the upper-left panel of the Assignment Detail screen, just above the assignment title.

Clicking this icon opens Student Preview Mode, which lets you experience the assignment almost exactly as your students will see it. This is useful for checking layout, question formatting, navigation flow, and scoring behaviors before students begin working.

When you open the preview:

• Most question types and interactive tools will function as expected.
• Some student-only features, such as Read Aloud accommodation, will not function in preview mode.
• You can complete the assignment as if you were a student, but your responses will not be saved or submitted.

Use the Eye icon to verify the student experience and identify any edits needed before assigning.
