Assignment Actions Menu (⋯) - Activity Detail Screen

To get to the Activity Detail screen, go to your Activities page and either:

  • Click the name of an activity, or
  • Click Review from the Activity Menu

Once you're on the Activity Detail screen, look to the right panel, where you’ll see a list of assignments that have been created from this activity.

Each assignment has its own three-dot menu (⋯) — this is called the Assignment Actions Menu.

⚠️ Don’t confuse this with the Activity Actions Menu, which appears in the left panel and controls the activity itself. The Assignment Actions Menu only applies to that specific assignment instance — typically tied to a single class or section.

Clicking the Assignment Actions Menu opens a dropdown with tools to manage that assignment:

  • Review All Submissions – Open the Assignment Detail >Review All screen to view and grade student work
  • Item Analysis – View performance breakdowns by question
  • Edit Assignment – Update access settings, due dates, scoring preferences, student tools, and more
  • Lock Assignment – Prevent students from being able to start a new submission or do additional work on existing submissions.
  • Export Scores to CSV – Download student scores to a spreadsheet
  • Rescore Assignment – Retry syncing scores to your LMS (Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology). This is helpful if a previous score push failed.
Note: Scores are automatically updated when you change the answer key or point values — this option is for re-pushing to your LMS, not re-grading.
  • Archive Assignment – Hide the assignment from your active view while preserving student data

Each assignment can be managed independently, making this menu especially helpful when you've used the same activity with multiple class periods.
