You can merge one or more slides within an activity into a single slide! This lets you control how content is chunked for instruction and how students experience your activity.

If you prefer the Scrolling View, you can even merge all slides into one long slide that students can scroll through to interact with the content.

How to merge slides

• Open your activity and click Edit.

• Select one of the slides you want to merge.

• Click the Slides menu, then choose Merge Slide(s).

• Select one of the following options:

• Merge with Previous Slide – Combines the current slide with the one before it.

• Merge with Next Slide – Combines the current slide with the one after it.

• Merge All Slides into One – Merges every slide in the activity into one long slide.

Tip: Choose Merge All Slides into One if you forgot to select “Combine selected pages into a single slide” when uploading your file. (see November 22nd, 2024 - A New New Popup for more information).

Important note

You can’t merge slides if their background images have been flipped or rotated.
