Changing the Point Value of a Question

To change the point value of a question, first select the question with the points you want to change. Then, click the current point value in the Editor Toolbar and enter the new value.

The point value must be between 0 and 1000. A point value of 0 means the question will still be auto-graded, but no points will be awarded based on correctness.

If you enter a new point value after students have started the activity in Google Classroom, Canvas or Schoology, you will have to resynchronize the scores. Classwork.com will prompt you at the top of the screen that the external scores must be updated. Click the link there to complete the process.

Finally, you can also award individual students points after they submit an incorrect response by clicking their answer, then clicking "Set Score" and entering a new score.
