What Is the Difference Between Reopening an Assignment and Resetting One? |
Reopening an Assignment
Reopening allows students to continue working on their existing Submission while keeping all of their previous work intact. It’s similar to handing back an ungraded paper so they can make changes or finish what they started.
Resetting an Assignment
Resetting completely removes the student’s previous work, grades, and any comments you’ve added. It’s like giving them a brand-new, blank copy of the Assignment.
