The Teacher Score and Auto Score features in Classwork.com are cumulative, not replacements for one another. This means that points you add under Teacher Score are added to the points from the Auto Score. The Teacher Score does not override the Auto Score.

Example:
If a student earns an 8/10 on the auto-graded portion of an Assignment and you give them 3/5 for an open-response question, their combined score becomes 11/15 (73%).

If you want to override the auto score for a specific question, use the Adjust feature available on each individual question — not the Teacher Score box.

If you’d like to override the entire auto score, use the Custom Score option instead. This replaces the total auto score with your own manually entered value.
