Moving Folders |
This Classwork.com feature allows you to create folders within another folder, helping you keep your materials organized. Let's walk through how it works.
If you want to add a preexisting folder to another preexisting folder, you have two options.
Click on the folder you want to place inside of another folder and drag it onto that folder. E.g. Spelling Quizzes placed in Spelling folder.
Click on the check box to the left of the folder's name on your Activities page and then choose “Move."
Once you choose to move a folder, this "Move Selected Items" pop up will appear. You may need to click on the little triangle next to "Home" in order to make all possible folders available.
Check off which folder or subfolder you would like to move the current folder into and choose "Confirm."
If you want to create a new folder within a current folder, select the target folder and then choose “New Folder” at the top of your screen.
Give your new folder a name and select a color label, then choose “Confirm.” The folder will automatically be added into the selected folder. You can move folders at any time.
If at any point, you want to know how many files or folders you have within a folder, simply look at the title of the folder on your Home page. To the right of each name, you will see the number of activities & folders that exist within it.
This feature makes it easy to stay organized in Classwork.com -- we hope you find it useful!
