Using the Algebra/Formula Question Type |
This question type is designed for responses that require more complex math or STEM equations and formulas. When creating an Algebra/Formula question, you’ll use a three-page LaTeX equation editor to enter the correct answer. Students will see the same editor when completing the question.
To set up an Algebra/Formula question:
On your activity, click or click-and-drag to draw a box. The Tools menu will appear. From there, select Algebra/Formula under the Math Types section.
Alternatively, you can use the toolbar: click Insert, choose Algebra/Formula from the Math Types section, and then drag your mouse to create your answer box.
Whichever method you choose, the Algebra/Formula editor window will open:
Select Add an Expression to engage the equation editor and enter in your correct answer! Choose Save Changes when you're done.
